In the 2023/2024 edition, the Philanthropic Consortium focused on supporting 33 key social projects. Thanks to the joint efforts of organisations and donors, we were able to assist 10,000 beneficiaries. These projects vary in themes and scope—ranging from education and health to support for those facing difficult life situations. The Philanthropic Consortium demonstrates the immense power of collaboration in building a better society, where everyone has a chance at a dignified life and personal development.
The aim of the project is to edit and publish the first major monograph on sculptor Barbara Falender, ensuring she holds a deserving place in public consciousness. The album will also be available in digital form, and her sculptures will be showcased in 3D technology. The monograph will be distributed free of charge to the libraries of all secondary and higher art schools across Poland.
The project involves creating a dedicated fund to finance or co-finance specialist training in child and adolescent psychotherapy or psychiatry for staff working in the Adult, Child, and Adolescent Psychiatry Clinical Department of the University Hospital in Krakow.
The institute organises the Health Stylist training programme for students at hairdressing schools who are also in foster care. The training aims to impart knowledge while also sparking passion and interest in young students. Workshops will cover topics including dermatology, trichology, law, and psychology.
The foundation is building an intervention pre-adoption centre for newborns and infants requiring special care—those who are ill, disabled, or have dysfunctions, suffer from Foetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS), have genetic conditions, or are premature. These children will receive appropriate diagnostics, professional care, and rehabilitation to significantly improve their condition and increase their chances of adoption.
The project aims to support the expansion of an existing educational institution, run by the Missionary Sisters of the Holy Family in Kithatu, Kenya, which has been operating since 1990.
The project, Live from Your Passion, involves auditions for children as well as singing, acting, and dance classes across 10 cities in Poland. These auditions are organised in partnership with local Social Welfare Centres, mothers' shelters, community centres, and orphanages. The most talented participants will have the chance to receive support in pursuing their artistic passions.
The project aims to combat social exclusion experienced by refugees and children with special educational needs. To that end, an inclusive education programme has been developed for kindergartens, which includes teacher training, fostering empathetic attitudes, and supporting the social integration of children from Ukraine.
The foundation organises educational workshops in kindergartens and schools, aimed at improving awareness about oral hygiene, dental care, and health promotion.
The foundation carries out a range of activities aimed at supporting child psychiatry, foster children, and those affected by road accidents. Through the project submitted to the Consortium, the foundation has decided to support several centres operating in two key areas: therapy for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorders, and working with youth struggling with addictions.
The project provides scholarships for 15 gifted students from the Podkarpackie region who face financial difficulties but show academic promise and have the potential to succeed in their further education.
The foundation organises a series of educational events primarily for children and teenagers from the Sądecczyzna region, particularly those living in rural areas where cultural institutions and educational centres are lacking, with the aim of inspiring young people in creative ways.
Funding has been provided to cover the year-long rental of a warehouse for storing medical supplies, food, clothing, and hygiene products awaiting transport to Ukraine.
The One Day Christmas initiative involves taking children from orphanages to Energylandia amusement park. Thanks to numerous attractions, the children can forget their daily struggles, if only for a day, and feel included in the experiences their peers have access to.
The foundation is organising two therapeutic retreats for 20 mothers with children. The first retreat is intended for mothers and children from Ukraine who have lost their husbands or fathers in the war. The second is for mothers and children from Krakow who face everyday financial and parenting challenges and are beneficiaries of mothers' shelters.
The foundation organises retreats for 15 families—parents, children, and siblings of children with disabilities—during which a team of professionals will provide rehabilitation, psychological support, career assistance, self-acceptance panels, sports activities, and legal advice.
